Why Ulmo?

Chilean Patagonia
From the pristine

Chilean Patagonia

Single-origin Patagonian Ulmo honey from one of the most isolated regions on Earth. Unmatched 97% monofloral. Raw and unfiltered.

Single-origin Patagonian Ulmo honey from one of the most isolated regions on Earth. Unmatched 97% monofloral. Raw and unfiltered.

Far from other farmland and any other agricultural and industrial pollution, bees forage in an untouched, clean environment, resulting in a pure honey.

In fact, our hives are nestled in a remote location accessible only by boat.

Monofloral
97%

Sourced from the native Ulmo trees of the remote Chilean Patagonia, our honey boasts an unparalleled 97% monofloral concentration.

We partner with a single isolated beekeeper to capture the short Ulmo blooming season, ensuring an exceptionally high concentration of the prized Ulmo nectar.

Pure
100%

Glyphosate. Pesticides. Additives. 3rd-party tested every harvest.

We prioritize total transparency and subject our honey to strict third-party lab testing to ensure it meets the absolute highest purity and safety standards. Because our dedicated beekeeper operates in a remote region far from industrial agriculture and urban pollution, the delicate ecosystem is protected. As a result, every jar of Ulmo Honey is Non-GMO verified, and certified completely free of glyphosate and pesticide residue.

vs Manuka
2X

the phenolic content of Manuka honey — nature's most studied antioxidant compounds.

Ulmo Honey contains more than double the phenolic content of Manuka honey. Known to promote anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and immunity-boosting activity in our bodies, these heavily studied health-promoting molecules are unmatched in our Ulmo Honey. Polyphenols and flavonoids are both a powerful class of molecules that are known for their antioxidant, anti inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties⁴.
These include phenols such as gallic and caffeic acids and flavonoids like querectin, rutin and more. All health promoting molecules that are supported by scientific evidence⁵.
Antioxidants protect our cells from the harmful action of reactive oxygen molecules called free radicals, preventing excessive oxidative stress that can cause inflammation and disease.

Stronger

Based upon peer-reviewed scientific studies, Ulmo Honey has been shown to have stronger antibacterial properties than Manuka honey. With greater antibacterial activity, Ulmo Honey is the superior choice for gut health and immunity.

Healthier

Ulmo Honey contains more than double the phenolic content of Manuka honey. Known to promote anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and immunity-boosting activity in our bodies, these heavily studied health-promoting molecules are unmatched in our Ulmo Honey.

Tastier

Ulmo Honey's flavor profile is prized for its mild floral notes, appealing to those who seek a more delicate taste compared to the intense, earthy flavor of Manuka honey. Our Ulmo Honey is raw to preserve all its benefits and creamed to prevent future crystallization. To be enjoyed straight from the jar, or as an alternative healthier sweetener.
